It works but you have to use it every day for the rest of your life. If you stop using it your hair will start to fall out again. I have no allergic reaction to this product and I am normally really sensitive. I have perfume allergies and chemicals really irritate my skin even in small amounts but I have been using Foligain for more then 5 years and I haven't had any issues. Basically Minoxidil, the active ingredient in Foligain makes more blood reach the hair on your head. The reason many of us experience hairloss is because the bloodflow to the hair is slowly being cut off. This kills the root of the hair slowly and you experience gradual hairloss. By using Foligain with Minoxidil in it you slows down the above mentions mechanism and you may experience that some hair will come back and you stop losing hair. If the hair root is dead the hair will not come back using Foligain but every hairroot can contain op to 5-6 hair strings and if some small amount of blood is still reaching the hair root you might see that some of the hair strings start to grow back. I hope this all makes sense. I am not a trained expert in this field but I did a lot of reached before starting to use Foligain.The only thing I don't like is that Foligain also contains small amounts of oil that makes your hair greasy. Great product that is easy to apply

I have been using Minoxidil for 31 years. Ever since I discovered the Foligain brand, I have always continued to buy it because I have always found it to be at the most advantageous price among those sold online. I avoid the itching induced by propylene glycol by washing my hair a little more often (2-3 times/week) and applying aloe vera dermogel emulsified with drops of oil tea tree oil when it appears and on a cleansed scalp.
